Senior Help Desk 
 

Our client’s vision is to enhance the lives of senior citizens and their families across the U.S. by providing a central, reliable source for information relevant to senior living. Our job was to interpret this vision with a technical eye in order to craft a custom website to achieve this vision.  
 

Senior Help Desk is a comprehensive, interactive, and sharable resource center for finding community trusted professionals, resources and services for our seniors.
 

Creating a framework to organize, categorize and search thousands of listings, posts and events was the foundation for this project. We developed a user-intuitive structure for seniors and companies to be able to access the information they need quickly and easily. The main features include:

  • Resource Directory
  • Events Calendar
  • Articles
  • Blogs
  • Discussion Forum
  • Helpful Links

 

To utilize and interact with the above features, we created a custom user registration portal, simple login process, and dedicated user profile page. To publish and interact within the Senior Help Desk community, we created a user-intuitive interface for users to post and share content with ease.

 

In addition, a host of additional features were integrated:

 

  • Social share buttons on each page
  • Text “Increase size” buttons
  • Captcha Security portals
  • Language filters
  • Automatic IP filtering based on state
  • 100% Mobile responsive design
  • Search Filters: location, keyword, category
  • User content automatically optimized for search engines (SEO)
     

The result is a stunning site that easily and accurately connects communities, businesses, governmental organizations, and non-profit organizations with the information senior need to live an optimal life.
